Meregrupp Freediving Claimed

I’m so happy that I chose Meregrupp for my Level 1 freediving course. Taniel is an exceptional instructor. His deep knowledge, passion for freediving, and commitment to staying up-to-date with the sport made the entire experience incredibly engaging. His approachable and calm personality instantly put me at ease, and his strong focus on safety ensured I felt secure throughout the course. He was also highly responsive and flexible with scheduling, which made organising the sessions super easy. If you’re considering freediving, I highly recommend doing it here, it was an unforgettable experience and I can’t wait to do it again!

This was an amazing experience and very unique even among other free diving sites. The sunken prison and surrounding vegetation felt almost otherworldly and you cannot ask for a better instructor/guide than Taniel. He went out of his way to ensure I was comfortable in the water, provided a refresher course the day before and even brought along a wonderful diving buddy for me. Would jump at an opportunity to do another dive with them!

An incredible freediving adventure in a lake where we saw a sunken prison, swam inside houses, in the middle of a forest and simply dived to a depth of 8-9 meters. Very good instructor and supportive throughout the entire adventure.

My freediving experience at Rummu Quarry was nothing short of exhilarating. The instructor was professional and safety-conscious, making sure that I felt comfortable throughout the experience. Prior to the dive, the instructor was also very responsive to questions and requests. The 1°C cold temperature on land and the ‘warm’ 7°C waters didn’t dampen my experience. Nonetheless, for divers who are more used to the tropical regions (e.g. Bali, Cebu etc), I’d suggest to join at a warmer time..
